Just a few of what we saw during our trip to Washington state... Hubby had to work & he took some vacation days afterwards so we could visit family. We had a fantastic time.

She's so big.  She became this big girl overnight it seems.  Baby girl, I love watching you grow, seeing you learn, hearing the thoughts & questions you have.. but it's breaking my heart a little.  Lets slow down just a bit, K?

Little Brother

5 Months

{April 9, 2012}

Dear Colby,

You are still not sleeping more than 3-4 hours at a time at night. 

You are however, breaking Mama's heart with how fast you're growing.

Daddy and I are enjoying making homemade purees for you & 

so far you've tried cereal, bananas, strawberries and blueberries.

You love it all.

You are working really hard on trying to scoot across the floor, 

but mostly move yourself around in a circle or backwards.

I'm not in much of a hurry for you to figure it out ;)

You adore your big sister.  

She can easily make you smile & gets the best giggles out of you.

I love seeing you two together, makes my heart full.

Little Man, I love you so much it hurts. Happy 5 months!

4 Months.

Dear Colby,

In this last month you have accomplished rolling tummy to back & back to tummy.

I was proud and sad all at the same time... with your sister I was all about her next milestone...

with you, I know time flies by faster than you can imagine. Too too fast.  So I'm cherishing the moments, trying not to wish for the past or look to much towards the future.  You are a sweet baby, smile a ton, and babble and coo at us a lot.  You don't sleep as well as I'd hope at night... you've regressed a bit.. 2-4 hour stretches. I don't mind, I'm learning to function on slightly less sleep, and you're just so darn cute at any hour that it makes it easier.  You are starting teeth, and suck and chew on your hands and most anything else you can grasp and get into your mouth & you love sticking your little tongue out.  You are such a great addition to our family and I can't imagine our little world without you.  I am so blessed.

I went on a hat buying spree before Colby was born, and then we had a pretty warm winter and he didn't get to wear them much, so I had a little photo shoot with him and some of his cute little hats.

Today @ 4 Months:

1 Month:
