Pretty.

Thanks, my sweet Hubby!
(he's out of town this valentine's day)

I can't believe they actually got out and delivered today

(click the pictures to get the amazing full effect!)

yup, that's out my front door.
The birds were circling this morning, not sure of what to make of it.

I set my alarm for this morning, to make sure I didn't miss it before it started to melt.
i'm so glad I did!!!
WOW!

Not sure what I expected to see...
But what I found outside my door
was Gorgeous!
I was in complete awe.

The last time Texas saw anything close was 1967 I believe.
And that was a few inches less than what we got yesterday.
It snowed for over 24 hours straight.

Ok. I'll get over it.  Maybe.

Snow Day.

Getting this much snow in Texas
multiple times in one winter
is Nutty!

(EDIT: 5:15 pm:There has been 14 hours of snow, so far and still going!!
I wish I could find my camera battery charger. Stupid move, made me lose
where I put things.)

And even though, I have pretty much
had my fill of the cold.
I Love love love waking up to this
wintery wonderland.

and sharing the wintery wonderland
with this precious face.
She did NOT want to come back inside.

....and as I type it is STILL falling.

Edit#2: 12:12am: And it's still falling!
21 straight hours of snow and I live in Texas.
I repeat, Dallas, TX.
I wish we could have a day more of it, to be honest.
It's so pretty, and we don't get snow a lot,
and snow like this, here... I've never seen it.

And yes, my perfect temp is approx. 78.9 degrees.
But for this, and when I don't HAVE to be in it
I'll deal with freezing temps. [for a short time]

Snow in Texas

(from photoshoot #2, this one done by the daddy)

It snowed here yesterday.
Real live snow.
It was beautiful and wonderful.
And made me absolutely giddy.

McKenzie was not as thrilled,
but she did take a piece off the ground
and had herself a little taste.

My favorites will be saved to share later...
as they are our christmas cards this year.
A few to share now:

Thank you Erin for the beautiful new hats and scarf!

and of course,
scrunchy face makes it's Christmas photo shoot debut...

...and thanks chau chau for humoring me once again :)
