My mom surprised me with...

this lovely yellow train case...

A very close resemblance to the one I featured in my previous post.
Same color, same brand.

My mother has had it stored away in her closet for many years,
and wasn't aware that I've been itching to have one
for months and months now...
but then saw my blog, and dug it out for me.
swoon...

Thanks mom.

Vintage Suitcases at jessjamesjake

At jessjamesjake you'll find lots of vintage pretties.
I stopped in because of Jess's vintage train and suitcases.

Aren't these lovely?

I think that last round suitcase has to be me top fave!

Jess also sells vintage clothing, accessories, and house wares.
And lives in New York with hubby James and her dog Jake
...hence her shop name :) Too cute.

For more check her out at
her etsy shop: jessjamesjake.etsy.com

Recycled Antique Pillow Cover Dress

Photo copyright of Stephanie Teague

I about DIED when I saw this gorgeous dress from
Isn't it gorgeous!? What talent!?
She used an antique pillow cover and vintage curtains in this design.
The neck is hand sewn from vintage sheer muslin and
the belt is recycled leather with adjustable snaps.

My favorite parts....the neck and the cinching on the skirt.
