A place to put my things...

We finally purchased some storage for me to put my crafting away in.

Today in the midst of
finishing up ornaments for the swaps I'm involved in,
teaching my daughter how to use a spoon,

cleaning up messes from said learning session,
and house cleaning/organizing...
I squeezed in some time to make some little spaces for my buttons and beads:

Pictures to share. Part 2

More to share...

McKenzie had her first brushing with an actual toothbrush.
We've been using a washcloth up until now.

I was so thrilled to finally get the christmas trees from storage!  I bought McKenzie's when I was pregnant with her last year on Black Friday.  It doesn't seem that long ago...time flies by so quickly!!

I LOVE Christmas and am so excited to share the joy and reason for the season with my little girl. (and of course, teaching her and watching her learn to open presents!)

Stella Jade
I was asked how I came up with the name...
Well, I felt using my own name didn't really say anything about who I was or what I had planned for my jewelry line.  Didn't really work for 'branding', I'd guess you'd say.  I thought about using my little one's name for the line, since she is the inspiration in starting my own business, but again, it just didn't 'feel' right.   I spent awhile scribbling down all kinds of options and then 'Stella' eventually came to mind... It has a flirty yet classy feel to it, and from there Jade came into play because it has always reminded me of jewels.
I felt it said what I wanted about my personality and my line...it all finally, just felt right.

Thanks for asking me about it Chau :)
