4 Years.

There’s more here than what were seeing
A divine conspiracy
That you, an angel lovely
Could somehow fall for me
You’ll always be love’s great martyr
Ill be the flattered fool
and I need you

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you

On my own I’m only
Half of what I could be
I can’t do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undo

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
For when I think I’ve lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you

Happy 4th Anniversary to my husband!
I am happy to be enjoying each day He has given us
as your wife!

A goody from our San Antonio Trip.

Couldn't pass up sharing this.
From Sea World.

McKenzie loved this girl
and she loved McKenzie.
I should have got a shot of them together
after she was finished.

Camera Bag Purse

I loved THIS camera bag
from Epiphanie.
Oh and THIS one too.

I wish they had the turquoise one
with a hot pink interior like the black one.

And maybe for my birthday
they'll be back in stock and someone
nice will gift me one of these beauties.

But for now, I fashioned my own.
I bought a purse that struck my fancy
at Marshalls
Just $24.99
I LOVE the color.
and it has the perfect number of pockets.

plus easier on the wallet
than one of the fancier Epiphanie bags.

Then I purchased some foam & pretty fabric.
$10

Not that I couldn't have just picked a fabric
from my growing collection here at home.

Sewed the fabric around the foam
and ta dah!  Camera bag purse. for less than 40 bucks.
(still need to add a divider piece so I can carry an extra lens)

I decided not to stitch it to the lining,
so that I could remove the pieces and use it just as a purse
if I ever wanted.

The Weekend.

After the Market on Saturday we went out to Bass Pro Shops
We got some things we'll need for our trip in a couple weeks
and ate at the restaurant there.
They have this fun little spot at the back of the restaurant
overlooking the lake.

Afterwards we went home to play
outside in the water.

Saw this spider catch himself a snack.
Very neat to see.

And bath time.

and the Market on Sunday.

This looks really ridiculous with the mixture of black and white stands,
but I am in the process of switching to all white.

Hubby chatting with our neighbor the bee keeper.
Do you love the child's bee costume he's sporting?!

After church, we went to dinner
Kenzie was a goof the whole way.
Of course with her finger up her nose.

At dinner she stuck a cracker in her mini burger
and proceeded to sing happy birthday.
There is always entertainment when your hanging with Kenzie.

Changing Diapers.

My little girl's new favorite thing
is to pretend to change her baby dolls diapers.
So I bought her a little baby doll pack with a
wipe case, changing pad and diaper.

I love watching her play.

She told me her baby needs new clothes
so I guess we need to buy a new doll
one where the clothes aren't stitched to the body.

Baby Carson is home.

Carson Eli and his sweet Mama and Daddy
got to go home today.
Shelly and I went over & spent a little time
with the family, had a yummy dinner made
by the new daddy's mother.
And loved on the new one for a little bit.

welcome home basket from Shells and I
for the whole family, even sweet puppy Sammy Jo.

Oh baby Carson Eli. Love you sweet boy.

As a mama of a baby who had next to no hair for the first 2 years of her life,
I swoon over babies with a cute little head of hair.

Weeds.

These big white flower weedy things
are growing all over the place here in Texas.

I always want to stop and see them up close,
and of course take pictures.
Today I finally did.

David and Kenzie were in the car when I did.
And David told me that when I got out,
he turned to Kenzie and said,
"Mama's embarrassing."
To which Kenzie responded,
"yeah.... she's taking pictures."
bahahaha.

The one I stepped up to take a picture of
had a pretty little friend, as an added bonus...

I did apologize to David for being embarrassing,
but told him I couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen again.

Baby Carson

Friend Jessica had her 1st baby!
Carson Eli!
He weighed 8lbs, but still seemed so tiny....

full head of dark wavy hair.

Not happy about being away from his Mama.

Congratulations New Family!  Welcome Carson Eli, love you so much already!

"Life So Hard..."

that's what she tells us
when things aren't going her way.

This is also what happens
when she has a disagreement
with lets say...
a bubble wand and a bottle of bubbles....

and merely 5 seconds later?

all is suddenly right with her world again.  Oh being 2 is rough.

Need a good Polish?

I'm always on the lookout for a great polish.
A pretty color.
One that will glide on the nail with ease.
And preferably one that will dry in a snap.
Cause with a 2 year old I need my nails to dry quickly.
And when painting her nails,
I need them to dry before she
decides to touch it.

I've found one that actually does what it says.
Drying in super fast time.
I only needed one coat,
and it looks glossy and pretty.

I picked my bottle up at Walmart.
60 seconds by Rimmel.

I'll now be needing more colors
for Kenzie and I to share.

McKenzie these days.

She's definitely asserting
her independence right now.
And I say No, and send her to timeout
more times than I can count some days.

Example.

The other day she shut herself in the pantry
trying to get fruit snacks.
And ended up screaming bloody murder
cause she couldn't get back out.
... don't know how many times I told her No fruit snacks.
Or please don't go in the pantry.

But, she's a great joy.
A blessing.
And super duper hilarious.

Being a pirate.

Last night she said:

"Mama I wanna wear those."
"No Kenzie, these are special rings from Daddy.
They're mama's wedding rings"
"OOOoooohhhhooooooo"

At the store when she wants something
she'll grab it and say,
"We've gotta pay for it."

Pretending to put on makeup

She stops and dies laughing
any time that volkswagon commercial comes on.
You know the one. With the blue van.
Yeah.
She finds it HILARIOUS.

Today while hanging on my leg:
"Mama, I like you."
"Well that's good Kenz, I like you too."

So New

for the shop.

I've been making TONS of new things,
but with preparing for the second market I'm involved with
I just haven't done very well at getting things up in the shop.
That will be changing this week.
So keep checking back!
